What is acne?
Acne is the most common of all skin diseases, affecting around 89% of 17 year olds and affecting all types of Asian skin. This type of Acne (also known as Acne Vulgaris) is often defined as a 'self limiting' disease, involving the sebaceous gland, and often resolves itself as hormones settle.

We are witnessing more and more adults presenting with a more 'hormonally mediated' type of Acne, which can be devastating, when it occurs for the first time in our late twenties and early thirties. There isn't a settling period for this type of Acne and advanced clinical treatments & products is often required.
